Pori

This city is on the west coast of Finland, approximately 10 miles from the Gulf of Bothnia, on the estuary of the Kokemäenjoki river. Also referred to as “A West Coast Gem”, the seaside city was founded in 1558 and provides couples with many unique activities. Lapland

Feel as if you are the only two people in the world when you spend time in Lapland. Located in the far north of Finland, Lapland is a truly magical experience. While there, you can sleep in a real igloo, as well as visit Rovaniemi, the capital of Lapland, and the “official” hometown of Santa Claus. Also offered are activities such as snowmobile excursions, dog-sledding adventures, ice fishing, guided snowshoeing excursions, and of course, the Northern Lights, which are visible roughly 200 nights per year. Lapland is a premiere Ice Diving location, where the dive takes place under the actual ice. Don’t forget to stop by the Urho Kekkonen National Park, Siida, the museum on the culture of the Sami people, and Lemmenjoki National Park to enjoy the wilderness and charm that Lapland has to offer.
